MEMOIRE D'EAU ENTRE BUEGES ET HERAULT

In the north of the department, this route takes you between the limestone plateaus of the Haute Vallée de l'Hérault and Buèges.
Go for a drive through limestone landscapes dominated by La Séranne, a barrier culminating at 1,000 metres above sea-level. In this arid land, man has tamed water that is precious in the Mediterranean region: dams, bridges, mills, “meuses” (or norias), irrigation channels. The Grotte des Demoiselles cave is worth a visit as a family.
