In the north of Montpellier, on Orthus limestone plateau, there is a history of glass-making. To follow with family and friends.
Glass-makers came to the Orthus in 1280. They blew their glass with wood, lime and quartz from pebbles collected from the Hérault.
Grouped in syndicates, these gentlemen went to Sommières on the Chemin des Verriers.
Between garrigue and vineyards, savour the combination of glass and wine!
