La Jasse means "shelter" in Occitan. The domain's plane tree, now 110 years old, has protected sheep in the middle of the scrubland for many years. The estate is located on land between Pic Saint-Loup and Terrasses du Larzac on scrubland, untouched by any culture. The estate is characterized by its cuvées produced mainly from Cabernet-Sauvignon.
