The "Vins & Saveurs en Grand Pic Saint-Loup" walks diary
Take an evening stroll through the hinterland between vineyards and garrigues and taste the wines of the Grand Pic Saint-Loup on our guided walks, in small groups, on Tuesdays from late May to October.
A 100% natural and gourmet experience based on the guided discovery of wines, terroir, heritage and remarkable landscapes scattered between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean...
For this new 2024 vintage, you can choose between:
♦ 5 WALKS - WINE & FLAVORS
Take a breath of fresh air at the end of the day on the major natural sites of the Grand Pic Saint-Loup and taste the wines, never far from the engarriguée vines and their local biodiversity
♦ 3 WALKS- WINE & ASTRONOMY
Stroll at dusk, taste wines and observe the celestial vault with your guide when darkness... and magic set in... Never seen before!
♦ 2 VISITS- WINE & GLASSMAKER
Go back in time and better understand the hidden heritage of the Grand Pic Saint-Loup, in the footsteps of these noble masters of the ancien régime, at the very heart of the former Verrerie de Couloubrines glassworks. The history of glass... and wine! A guided tasting of 3 cuvées will punctuate the course of your visit.
Wine tourism guides, astronomy or history specialists, producers and restaurateurs with Vignobles & Découvertes labels... all come together to reveal the wonders of our region, during these immersive walks and tours.
To make the experience as pleasant and convivial as possible, groups are limited to 15 people.
If our walks and the wines we discover leave you wanting more, don't worry! You'll leave with plenty of ideas for your next visit to our partner producers, guides and restaurateurs.
Hiking shoes on, walking sticks in hand, tasting glass and box of local produce in your rucksack... you're ready to follow the guide into the heart of nature, to the most beautiful sites in the hinterland!
From the secret Buèges valley to the emblematic Pic Saint-Loup or the Causse de l'Hortus, the wines you taste have all grown up in the exceptional panorama that unfolds before your eyes.
Enjoy a tasting in the heart of nature of 4 cuvées corresponding to the various appellations found in our destination: AOP Pic Saint Loup, AOP Languedoc, AOP Languedoc, AOP Grés de Montpellier, AOP Terrasses du Larzac and IGP Saint Guilhem-le-désert, IGP Pays d'Oc.
During the walks, a box of local assortments will add an extra gourmet touch to the wine tasting. A sampling of local flavors and dishes, prepared with passion by 3 Vignobles & Découvertes restaurants.
The restaurateurs of Mas de Baumes, J'Adore and Lou Regalido will share their expertise with you through this small assortment of fresh, local and seasonal products, in the form of a box to slip into your backpack. A compact, reusable box, made in France, for eco-responsible outings.
